Organizing an event for the MIT Club of Boston is an opportunity to have fun, meet new people, learn about interesting subjects, and see new things. Club members provide all the wonderful ideas for events, and we are very grateful that you have volunteered.

Although it takes some work, organizing an MIT Club event should not be an extremely difficult undertaking. Here are some reminders, guidelines, and hints to make the process easier.

A checklist is included that lists all things you should do when planning your event. Please do follow the steps outlined, as they help keep you organized, and help us assess our events. Keep a master copy of the checklist, the sign-in sheet, and the finance report. Copy them as needed for each event that you run. Some items may not be applicable to all events. Please fill out everything else that is relevant and send it back to us. If you need any assistance, or if you can think of a way in which we can run this club better, please do contact me at the address and phone number listed below. Thanks for all your efforts!
