The MIT Club of Boston hosts over one hundred events every year. The success of all these events depends on the tireless efforts of our volunteers. Browse through the open volunteer positions below and see what matches your interests. Email Valerie at

Volunteer for individual committees:
- MIT10 - young alumni social networking events
- Arts & Entertainment - outings to theater, arts
- Professional development - careers & entrepreneurship
- Community Services - volunteering & nonprofit
- Outings - ski trips, apple picking
- Metrowest - events for Metrowest communities
- Intramural - sports teams
- Tech tours - tour cool companies or labs
Volunteer mailing list The Club of Boston has an email list with nearly 350 recipients interested in volunteering with events and activities. The email list is a low-traffic list with a monthly volunteer e-newsletter where upcoming events and volunteer opportunities are announced. In addition, volunteer requests for events are sent to the email list on a per-need basis. Open Leadership positions 2009:
- Assistant VP of Volunteer Development - Connects volunteers to committee chairs
- Assistant VP of Programs - Has experience running events, managing people
- Assistant VP of Boston Seminar Series - Organizes Boston Seminar Series
- Assistant VP of Communication - Manages weekly email newsletters, monthly newsletter, post cards, Web site
- Assistant VP of Marketing - Manages all-Boston emails, coordinates marketing of club events
- Club officer toolkit: Whether you are a novice or an experienced veteran, you will find the Alumni Association's club officer toolkit immensely useful.
