How MIT is Dealing with Financially Turbulent Times

Tuesday, October 20, 2009, 5:30-8:30 PM

Join us for a special event that will give us insights into some of the Institute’s thinking on how it is dealing with financial instability. Seth Alexander will share his thoughts on how MIT dealt with the financial turmoil last year and what it is doing to prepare the portfolio for what lies ahead.

Diners will enjoy a starter of Cream of Celery Root Soup with Crispy Pancetta and Parmesan Cracker, followed by a choice of Chef's Omnivore Special (Red Wine Braised Short Ribs with Oyster Mushroom Ragout has sold out) and Seasonal Vegetables OR (vegetarian) Beluga Lentil Stuffed Roasted Bell Pepper with Portobello Mushroom & Tomato Basil Oil. Everyone will conclude the meal with Warm Chocolate Lava Cake with Banana Ice Cream served with Starbucks coffee and Tazo teas. NO substitutions can be accommodated on 10/20. If you have special dietary needs, you must communicate them to us no later than 10/20.
