This year, the MIT Club of Boston will be sponsoring the following sports:

• Fall:  Badminton, Bowling, Dodgeball, Flag Football, Soccer, Tennis
• Winter: Basketball, Ice Hockey, and Pistol
• Spring (tentative): Billiards, Bowling, Foosball, Indoor Soccer, Softball, Table Tennis, Team Tennis, Ultimate Frisbee, Unihoc, Volleyball

The registration deadline for Winter IM sports is 10/18/09 11:59pm.

Every team sport is organized by a captain. If you are interested in captaining a team, please let us know!  (Team captains will be able to participate without the initial registration fee)

• Air Pistol
• Basketball
• Ice Hockey

The Winter Season:
Each season will run in two parts, from the end of October-Dec 5, 2009 and then start back up after IAP and run from Feb 6 - mid-March, 2010.

• A – Experienced players who may have been playing together for some time.
• B - Majority of team has played the sport but not necessarily on a formal team.
• C - A casual league for those who have never played or wish to play leisurely.  This league is often played without referees.

A one-time initial registration fee for each participant is $30 (members) / $40 (non-members) which will allow you to participate in as many sports as you want in 2009-2010.  Please note that Air Pistol has an additional fee of $5 and Ice Hockey has an additional $20.  

If you haven't renewed your July 2009-June 2010 MIT Club of Boston membership, you can do so at http://bostonclub.mit.edu/join/

You will need to sign up using SmarTrans for 2009-2010.  If you have already registered on SmarTrans for a Fall Sports, you will not have to pay the one-time participation fee ($30 for member, $40 for non-member).  If you are joining a sport which requires additional fee (such as Air Pistol and Ice Hockey), you will need to register at SmarTrans to pay for the additional fees.  Once SmarTrans registration is completed, you will need to sign up for individual sport/team on athleague.com.  If you don't have an athleague.com account, you will be able to create one so with (and only with) you alum.mit.edu email account.  You can then search for our team by "MITCOB (name of sport/level)" and join the team that you are interested in.  If you have any problems, please feel free to contact the team captain or me.
