We are experiencing an extraordinary economic difficulty due to a great amount of leverage and irresponsible lending practices in our financial system. It is increasingly getting more important for us to attain solid knowledge in personal finance related issues such as 401(k)s, investing, debt, mortgage, credit score and taxation. This talk by Beth Kobliner, a personal finance expert and author of Get a Financial Life, will provide relevant advice on how to manage debt, buy a home, restore credit scores and many more for young 20s and 30s. These skills will help navigate through these economic difficult times better.
Beth Kobliner’s discussion would be just in time for the release of her new book, Get a Financial Life: Personal Finance in Your Twenties and Thirties. Beth Kobliner’s earlier book, Get a Financial Life has been a New York Times bestseller for nearly a decade. Beth Kobliner has been writing about personal finance for 15 years. A former writer for Money magazine, contributor to the New York Times and financial columnist for Glamour, she has appeared repeatedly on Oprah, CNN and NPR. Get a Financial Life, is a totally new, recession-ready take on her New York Times bestseller from a decade ago. Kobliner arms a whole new generation of 20- and 30-somethings with grounded, step-by-step advice on 401(k)s, credit reports, debt and more, to help young people learn to navigate the brave new world of personal finance.
