Sign up for MIT Club of Boston membership today!  If you were a member, then your 12- or 18-month membership may have already expired recently, so renew today!

Join a distinguished network of thousands of MIT alumni in the Boston area. Your membership supports our mission of providing social, educational, professional development and community service opportunities for local alums. The club is responsible for hundreds of small- and large-scale events that cater to a wide diversity of interests - from trips to Fenway to lectures on physics, from social hours to ice hockey.

 

 MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION FOR 2009-2010

Sign up now for a 12-month membership (July 2009-June 2010) with the MIT Club of Boston.

 

All membership levels include:

  • Member pricing at Club events for you and one guest,
  • Member-Only events (Summer BBQ, Member’s receptions, etc.)
  • Preferential access to sellout events (over non-members)
  • Club newsletter
  • Weekly email announcements of selected happenings at MIT & the Club
  • Reciprocal privileges at affinity partners (MIT Enterprise Forum, Sloan Alumni Club of Boston, MIT Club of New Hampshire, Ivy+, etc.)
  • A $25 discount on annual membership to the MIT Athletic facilities (This requires a coupon at time of purchase, so after you have paid for your MITCOB membership, email your coupon request to the club administrator, Nancy Goldberg at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.   • Dues are fully tax-deductible as allowed by law (please consult your tax professional)
  • Contribution to the Club’s Scholarship Fund, administration, and service programs for MIT as noted below.
  • Discounted Zipcar membership of $25 (a savings of $25) and for those who are new to Zipcar, there is no sign-up fee (another $25 savings). See http://www.zipcar.com/mitclubofboston for details.

Membership Levels:

  • Benefactor: Full constitutional privileges and contributes to the MIT Club of Boston scholarship fund for MIT students.  $500
  • Sustaining Member: Full constitutional privileges and contributes to the MIT Club of Boston scholarship fund for MIT students.  $200
  • Supporting Member: Full constitutional privileges and contributes to the MIT Club of Boston scholarship fund for MIT students.  $100
  • Regular Member: Full constitutional privileges.  $35
  • Recent Graduate Member (2008): Only for 2008 graduates and must reside, work or attend school within 100 miles of Boston.  $15
  • New Graduate Member (2009): Only for 2009 graduates and must reside, work or attend school within 100 miles of Boston.  FREE
  • Associate Category for Current MIT Students Only: No constitutional member privileges such as voting and some attendance limitations.  FREE
