This career mentoring event will be consisted of two parts: 1) general discussion (panel format) in the beginning where every alumni that represents different industry talks about career progression and 2) breakout session for smaller groups by interests for more Q&As and networking time. The event will be more informal and will attempt to provide a chance for networking. Keep in mind that there willb e others in the audience likely to have had experience in different professions like finance or private equity. Alumni panelists had various majors (for example, architecture, chemistry, computer science, economics, physics, management, mechanical engineering) and industry backgrounds (for example, architecture, consulting, computer software, environmental engineering, finance, law, manufacturing, venture capital). Janice Vatland - Class of 1995 - Associate at Wolf, Greenfield and Sacks, P.C. J David Pelly - Class of 1993 - Entrepreneur in Residence at Matrix Partners John James Wlassich - Class of 1986 - VP of Product Development at Nomir Medical Technologies As we are going through extraordinarily difficult financial times of history, this panel will be extremely helpful, especially, for those who are affected by it or who are in a tough job market right now. Light refreshment will be available for everyone.
