Jacqueline A. Lees, Professor of Biology, Associate Director of the Center for Cancer Research. MIT has a powerful combination of science and technology that is without equal, and cancer research at the Institute is part of a long and rich history that has today culminated in exciting new initiatives at the Center for Cancer Research (CCR). This talk will describe some of the cutting-edge work being performed at the CCR, which yields new insights into the disease as well as new approaches to diagnose it more rapidly and accurately, and to treat it more effectively.
Note: Due to major construction, parking will not be available at the Sloan Lot. In the meantime, free parking will be available at both the E-51 and the Hayward parking lots. Directions to the lots are as follows:
E-51 Lot - From Memorial Drive, turn onto Wadsworth Street and take the first left onto Amherst Street. The lot is the first left.
Hayward Lot - From Memorial Drive, turn onto Wadsworth Street and take the first left onto Amherst Street. Take the first right onto Hayward Street. The lot is located on the right.
