The seminar will be conducted by estate planning attorney Rick Kraft, founder of Kraft Law Offices in Boston. Kraft's practice is devoted to protecting the rights and security of both non-traditional and traditional couples and individuals. The seminar will cover wills, trusts, healthcare proxies, living wills, durable powers of attorney and other documents to ensure individual's intentions are honored, rights protected, and loved ones provided for. The importance of coordinating legal planning with financial planning and the use of life insurance as a substitute for the social security survivor benefits denied same-sex couples will also be addressed.
