| Dramashop, one of MIT's student theater groups, will be performing Leo Tolstoy's The Power of Darkness, a moving drama involving the darker aspects of Russian peasant life. Set amongst a peasant community in nineteenth century Russia and inspired by real life events, The Power of Darkness is a powerful and intense drama depicting greed, murder, adultery and infanticide. Ticket price includes dinner with MIT Theater Arts Professor Jay Scheib (the play's director). He will give us his take on one of Tolstoy's most powerful dramas. |
Location: We will meet for dinner at the Bush Room and then go to Kresge Little Theater for the performance, 77 Massachusetts Ave
